falsies pl. n. Pads or padding worn inside, or
as part of, a brassiere to exaggerate the dimensions of the breasts.
Gcnder-specific
ornamentation largely obsoleted by silicone technology and, sad to say,
surgical risk. Seems like decades since I have heard the word, which
was invariably spoken with a juvenile smirk.
The term could just as well have been applied to shoulder
pads inside a man's jacket. As a tall man with narrow shoulders,
I would not have liked that. |
